How can i access the services under NDIS?
If you have a permanent disability and meet the program eligibility criteria you can access the NDIS. NWRH have a checklist to assist you in confirming eligibility. It is important to understand how the NDIS works and whether you are eligible to participate. If you are, you will develop a plan with the NDIS to help you access the support you need. Your plan will be reviewed over the time so you'll get the right support for as long as you need it.
How can i access NDIS support?
1. Contact NDIA - the NDIA is the first point to contact to access the scheme and receive services.2. Planning - an NDIA planner will assist you to identify your goal and what services you need to achieve this goals.3. Finalize plan - it may take a few discussion and changes but once happy you, finalized your plan and budget with the NDIA. 4. Choose Provider - you can now choose which service provider you would like to deliver the services in your plan.

Please note that people must lodge their access request before their 65th birthday in the order to meet the NDIS eligibility requirements. Once you are registered with and they i asked you can choose to transition to the My Aged Care Program after you turn 65 or stay with NDIS.
